Catching up with friends

Since I've been home from our trip, I've been catching up with a few friends. I am definitely an extrovert - it energizes me to spend time with those that I love.

The first picture below were really my first group of friends I made when I moved to Dallas. They were my lifeline. Ann (who sat directly across the table from me) was one of my favorite roommates! She laughed when I told her Roy does our laundry because she used to do my laundry too (: We used to have a little bunko group going but with so many babies (and some of the girls moving away), we just couldn't pull it off anymore. It was so good to see these girls.

This picture is from Linde's birthday party at Matt's ElRancho. You will notice that I'm wearing the same dress (when I get a new dress, I like to wear it everywhere) - Roy thinks this is hilarious. Linde is such a great friend - she is so beautiful but her inward qualities continue to out-shine her outer beauty. Roy calls her "Gold" - I asked if I could be "Silver."

This picture is from Chandra's birthday at Tillman's (yummm!). Being on a Tuesday night, it felt very relaxing to just sit and talk. Chandra is also a really good friend. Not only is she super creative but she's so much fun to be around. I love me some Chandra. It was also good to Jen Thomas back in town (she's been living in England) and Heather (who lives in Austin most of the time).

This last picture is of a few friends of mine that (of course) I love dearly. Many of them went to UT with me - all of them were in a bible study with me for a few years. Kacey (in the red) just had twin girls (doesn't she look amazing?)! It was great to catch up - I used to see these girls more often. I know you've probably already noticed my blue dress again (:
